Weddings at St. Christopher's

Weddings at St. Christopher’s can be an exciting time for brides and grooms as they exchange promises to begin a life of excitement, caring, sharing, journeying together.

A marriage in the church is a sacramental act (holy) in which two people who love each other wish to stand in the presence of God and their friends and promise to support and strengthen each other for the rest of their lives. It is a moment when two people, with God’s blessing, begin the journey to wholeness and oneness. And those gathered with them offer their prayers for the fulfillment of the vows, for the promise of happiness and a life lived fully in joy with each other.

We try to be a warm and welcoming community where every attempt is made to help you feel at home regardless of your church background or experience. There are certain requirements, e.g. marriage preparation and the need to meet with the Wedding Coordinator and the Priest. These are attempts to add to your comfort level.

If you are interested in exploring the possibility of a “church wedding”, we invite you to be in touch with us. We would like to help make the day as exciting and celebrative as possible.
