Where do You Fit In ? There are many areas where the Youth of our parish can be of assistance: as a part of the Worship Service, as a Server, in the Junior Choir, or instrumentally; providing leadership for younger children in Grannie's Place or as a Church School Leader; or with fundraising activities.
Junior Choir Children ages 5 and up are invited to meet every Thursday evening from 6:00 - 7:00pm. They sing in Church at the 10:00am service.
Server’s Guild Youth, grade 5 and up, assist in the Sanctuary on Sunday during the 2nd worship service, approximately once a month.
Reader’s Guild Read the assigned weekly bible lesson in church on Sunday mornings on a scheduled basis.
Prayers of the People Write and read the prayers on Sunday mornings in church on a scheduled basis.
Instrumental Group Join a group who play guitars and other instruments in church on Sunday mornings.
Grannie’s Place Help care for infants and toddlers during worship on Sunday Mornings, during the 2nd worship service.
Church School Teacher Take turns teaching children ages 3 and up, for a block of six to eight weeks.
Kids' Club Helper Teens welcome to help out with elementary school aged children on Tuesdays after school. Come join the fun.
Childcare During Programs Help needed for childcare when parish programs and events are on.
Workshops and instruction are provided on an ongoing basis. |
