An Evening with the Primate
January 15th, 2009 7:00 - 9:00pm at St. Christopher's
Our Primate, Fred Hiltz, will offer his reflections on recent decisions taken by the National Church, Niagara's place in the Anglican Church of Canada, our relationships with the wider Communion and the Blessing of Same Sex Unions. There will also be a time for questions from those in attendance. Seating is on a first come, first seated basis.

About John Bell: JOHN L. BELL is an ordained minister of the
Church of Scotland and a Member of the Iona
Community, an ecumenical group devoted to“seeking new ways of living the Gospel in today’s
world.” After a period in the Netherlands and two
posts in church youth work, he became employed
full time in the areas of music and worship with
the Wild Goose Resource Group. He is a past
convenor of the Church of Scotland’s Panel on
Worship and presently convenes the Committee
revising the Church Hymnary.
With his collaborators, he has produced 15
collections of original music and choral
arrangements. Known internationally for his
creative and inclusive approach to both music
and worship, Bell has written several books on
social justice, peace and the renewal of
congregational worship.
