        Caring for infants & toddlers during worship. (10:00am service)

        When a teen needs extra attention, care, or perhaps help with career choices.

        Provide and/or serve light refreshments for funeral receptions at the church.

Be a part of a chain of people who pray daily for those who request it. All persons’ names on the prayer chain are confidential.

Call one or several parishioners who need to be phoned on a regular basis to help them stay connected.

Be a friend to a fellow parishioner who is shut-in by making a weekly visit.

We begin a new session for those who have recently lost loved ones. The group will begin on October 19th and run for eight weeks. Contact Sue Nicolls at 905-634-1809 or snicolls@stchristophersburlington.com for more information.

When the need arises and you are available.

Extend a welcome during the coffee hour especially to new people, and prepare and serve refreshments.

Prepare and/or clean up meal on Tuesdays. Preparation begins at4:00. Clean up help is always needed from 6:30 – 7:00pm.

Prepare the meal, act as host, help with clean up (4 times per year).

Keep in touch with parents of newly baptized children. Watch for and welcome them on Sundays, call when you haven’t seen them for awhile. Help them to feel part of the community. Sponsor up to three families.

Be part of a team that visits St. Christopher’s people while they are in hospital.

Help with food, publicity, welcoming at events such as the Christmas Market, Annual Picnic, Christmas Tree Lighting/Carol Sing, Concerts, Summer Church Camp.

Caring for infants and toddlers to give parents the opportunity to be involved in a program. Help needed Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30 – 11:00am and at other programs at various times.

Each Tuesday afternoon all seniors are invited to attend a fellowship time of fun, friendship, goodies. Drivers are needed to bring people to the church at 2:00pm and/or taken home at 4:00pm You are welcome to stay if you would like.

Three times each year hot lunch is served after the Thursday Eucharist worship. The Thursday regulars provide fellowship, but help is needed with the lunch by purchasing, preparation, serving, and clean up and drivers.
